1. If you look for a Getty Images, please check first the Getty Images database.
2. After you have chosen the RF (Royalty Free) picture, send your request to media_asset@osram.com with the picture number.
3. We download the image from Getty Images.
4. We put the image in the DAM-System.
5. Then you’ll get the DOI (Digital Object Identifier) of the uploaded image from us.
6. You can download the image from the DAM-System.

• OSRAM and Partner: you can use this asset for any kind of OSRAM companies media AND you can give it to any third party for their own purpose.
• Only for the purposes of all OSRAM Companies: you are not allowed to pass this asset to third partie for their own use (for example customers). But you can use the asset for all OSRAM companies purposes, therefore you can pass it e.g. to agencies, journalists or publishing houses.

OSRAM has limited usage rights for iStock images. That‘s why we can use iStock images in Intranet, PPT presentations, single-use brochures, which should not appear in the internet and be stored in the DAM-System.

Also, images with a so called CCO license (e.g. from Flickr) are not allowed for usage and of course not from any other source in the Internet.

Yes, you can upload the images and brochures in the DAM-System byyourself. Please follow the instructions of Upload Manuals, which you can request from Media Asset Team.

The publication of images depicting many people generally requires a written consent of every person which can be recognized in the picture. Exceptional cases are public events (e.g. fairs, public meetings or company events where family and friends are invited). A written consent is not necessary if the image focuses on the event and not on the individuals. Also a written consent is not necessary for individuals which cannot be recognized in the image.
