When to use:

Digitalization and innovative solutions increasingly ask for combined expertise between companies. Collaborations can range from joint product or solution development to merging hardware and software from different sources into a full solution. Collaboration itself must always be contract-based. If partners want to to use the OSRAM logo or OSRAM their's, trademark licensing must to be added to the contract.

What to do:

• It is mandatory to check at the very beginning of negotiations if the collaboration partner wants to use the OSRAM logo or vice versa.
• If logo use is relevant, the OSRAM legal department must be involved to integrate trademark licensing into the partnership contract.
